Senior Operations Analyst

Senior Operations Analyst required for market leader, fast growing retailer in the high street fashion sector.  The company is also experiencing rapid growth through its online presence. 

The Senior Operations Analyst will be required to help manage and support operational services ensuring high availability, data integrity and recoverability. In order to achieve this they will:

  • Assist with the planning, installation and setup of automation and monitoring tools.
  • Investigate operational incidents and either correct or develop plans to correct any identified problems
  • Assist in the design and execution of Change Management, Incident Logging and Service Level Agreements
  • Develop standards for the documentation of production systems and assist in producing that documentation

Technical Support / 2nd Line Support

An IT Support Engineer is required for a young dynamic consultancy practice who provide project based services within the Investment Banking arena, covering areas including, electronic markets, trading and risk management.  You will be responsible for supporting the New York office therefore you will be required New York times i.e. 2pm to 10pm.

You will have responsibility for resolving 2nd & 3rd line support issues, troubleshooting servers, desktops, laptops and network devices.  Additionally, you will be responsible for rolling out new desktops (and keeping system images current), desk moves/changes (including Cat5 structured cabling and telephone system changes).

As a key member of a small IT team, you will work with the Infrastructure Manager to support 70 users.  This will include all aspects of IT support in a Windows environment including tasks such as backups, network troubleshooting, system maintenance and desktop support.

Although your primary role will be in supporting users, you will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager on project-based work (rolling out new servers, patching/upgrading software), and when a support issue has been closed, generating new procedures / documentation to prevent its recurrence.

Key duties:

  • Project management and technical design of client projects.

Senior PHP Developer

PHP Developer required for the market leader in broadband performance measurement.  Our client measures broadband services for the British, American and European governments, as well as for many ISPs across the world.

The role will be responsible for developing innovative and useful ways of visualising the vast amounts of measurement data that is collected and presenting it to the three key stakeholders - end users, governments and ISPs.  The role focuses on the presentation layer for data, but would require in-depth knowledge of our large backend data collection systems.

The ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:

  • Strong ability to self-direct their workload, eliciting requirements and developing prototypes.

Application Implementation Consultant (SQL, Crystal Reports)

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to implement our clients systems

  • Experience in supporting high availability customer-focused environments.
  • CCNA certified and CCNP certified - or currently studying towards CCNP.
  • Demonstrable track record of the support and troubleshooting of core network enterprise infrastructure and devices around Cisco technologies (Cisco router, Cisco firewalls (PIX, ASA, FWSM) and switching, Cisco content switching & load balancing hardware (CSS/ACE), Cisco software including Cisco Works and ACS.)
  • Knowledge & experience around routing and switching technologies such as BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS, STP, HSRP & VRRP.
  • Knowledge & experience around VPN technologies specifically IPSec LAN to LAN and VPN client software
  • Knowledge and experience of ITIL standards desirable
